The workplace. As a REALTOR my workplace is al over town. Today I'm at my home office working on all the tech stuff that I can think off, and remember from a seminar I went to about a week ago. Marketing is online they say. that's true in many ways however the face-to-face and voice-to-voice is still more important in my book.

Yesterday was a little bit of running around and office work. The photo here shows Ua and Lisa, two of my favorite REALTORS at the office. A workplace is important to get motivated and have a sence of belonging I guess.

The fun part starts when I am 'all over town' showing properties or meeting with clients and friends. That's the way I like to do business, working with people who I like and who like me. By referral only, I call it sometimes. I can spend more time on my clients and their real estate needs that way. Many REALTORS spend time on 'door knocking', 'cold calling', calling 'for sale by owners' etc., etc. That time, I like to use to really be of service to my clients. when I meet my clients I always ask them for referrals, "... who do you know that's also thinking of selling their home...". It's a Win-Win situation.

I hope you enjoy your workplace as much as I do mine! Make it a great day!!

Oh, and by the way, I am never too busy for any of your referrals!

Thanks,

Robin

Popcorn, Space suit, and Scraping

About a week ago, I was in the pleasant position to be able to hand keys to Josh and Tracy. Their first home, WooHoo. It was a long time coming, and everyone was ready to get started to make this house their home!

One of the first things was to scrape the "popcorn" ceilings. This is a two day event that is very messy and not something many homeowners want to do themselves.

I am fortunate to have a long list of professionals, for all sorts of projects. The list has electricians, attorneys, gardners, plumbers, handy men - and women, roofers, garagedoor installers and it goes on, and on, and on.

This photo is the guy dressed up to be on his way to the International Space Station, yet he was nice enough to stay on Earth and scrape some "popcorn".

When you are in need of a trusted professional to help you around the house and more, contact me. I'll be glad to refer some people to you.

Referring is a big part of my own business too. I work by referral so that I can utilize my time to help my clients buy and sell their home.

Have a great day, and please remember, I am never too busy for your referrals!

Thank you,

Robin

For Sale Sign attracts all sorts...

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this photo on my Facebook Timeline.

Jennifer and Kathy from the office took this picture when they passed by my For Sale Sign in Long Beach.

Thanks for the support, girls!!!!

The way I do my real estate business is by referral only. I noticed a while back that I can spend more time with my clients, helping them buy or sell their home, when I do not have to prospect for new business. By asking all the people who I know to keep me in mind and refer their friends and family to me, business will follow and my time is focussed on my clients!

Rather than spending 70% of my time on doorknocking, farming, calling on 'for sale by owners' and 'expireds', I use that time to help you, my client!

Enjoy the day and please, remember, I am never too busy for your referrals!

Long Beach - Belmont Shore Annual Car Show!

Great way to spend the day away close to the ocean. Nice breeze, great crowd, wonderful food and oh yes! the classic cars! It is fantastic to live in Long Beach and have this event every year in mid September.

Bring your friends, hang out and of course, visit the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County volunteers. Look for the van with the German Shepherd on it. There will be 5-6 Shepherds there waiting to meet you and hopefully find their Furever-Home!

Take a look at Athena, just over one year old, fun, active and right now lounging on our hardwood floors. She stayed overnight so my wondrful wife can take her to the show.

Enjoy your Sunday!
